Overview
Not everybody wants to be under way while they eat. The Nile View stays alongside the Zamalek bank all evening, which means a table on the water, the same view of the bridges and the tower, and a kitchen that can take its time.
The menu is à la carte and Egyptian: grilled fish from the market that morning, kofta, tagines, and a mezze list long enough to make a meal on its own. There is no set sitting and no show, so you arrive when you like and leave when you are ready.
It is the right booking for anyone prone to seasickness, for older travellers, and for families with small children who would rather not be on a moving deck after dark.
