You can pay in full online now, or pay cash to your guide at the start of the tour. Nothing is charged until you choose.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Tell us your flight number when you book and we track it. If you land late we move the tour, shorten it or reschedule it at no extra cost.

Overview

Not everything needs to be an evening. This is the small covered launch that locals take, running a loop from the Zamalek steps up past the island and back, and it costs about what a coffee costs in a hotel lobby.

There are benches under an awning, a breeze the moment you leave the bank, and forty-five minutes of Cairo from the angle almost no visitor sees it from. Families use it as a first taste of the river before committing to anything longer; photographers use it because the light off the water at either end of the day is worth the twelve dollars on its own.

Departures run through the day. It is not private, so you may share the boat with a few other people.
